The Bit on the Side

Well the weather in August wasn’t exactly what we were looking forward to but despite that disappointment it was an incredibly busy month at Provender. Lots of visitors looking around South Petherton and treating themselves to lunch or coffee and cake. It’s nice to meet new people. Even on the wettest days we sold lots of Mendip Moments ice cream. A testament to a wonderful local product in fabulous flavours.

 

New in the shop are preserves from The Bit on the Side who are really local producers from Wedmore. The labelling is fun and the flavours are really good as well as unusual. Why not try Pa’s pickle or Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower marmalade?
