At The Cake Stand at Provender, our one true love is cake. We make little cupcakes flavoured with vanilla, lemon, chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, peaches and cream..., magic cakes covered in pretty coloured fondant & decorated for any celebration, a new baby, wedding, Halloween, New Year.
We love making wedding & celebration cakes, making them personal to you & sprinkling them with blossoms, butterflies, gorgeous ribbons, the list is endless. Our latest passion is cookies; lemon, chocolate, ginger & in numerous shapes...shoes, handbags, scottie dogs, the list goes on. They are perfect for corporate goody bags, party bags or wedding favours.

Delivered to your workplace or home, our cake club is perfect for anyone who enjoys home baked treats. Ideal to share with work colleagues or to make life easier at the weekend.
Each week you receive a different variety of cakes, some big, some small and whatever you get, we’re sure you’ll love it! For instance, our medium sized box may contain a lemon polenta cake, a treacle tart, flapjack or shortbread.

Choose from: sml 4-6 servings; med 7-10 servings; lge 11-15 servings. You can also make special requests for a birthday cake or themed cupcakes to mark a particular occasion.
Parties
The cafe is the perfect place to celebrate. We can cook you a special dinner, how does chilled pea & chorizo soup, salmon & fennel parcels, followed by orange and lemon parfait sound? Maybe you would prefer a summer buffet with local ingredients made into tasty salads, local Dorset ham and cheeses, followed by chocolate brownies with local ice-cream.

Tea Parties
You can hold a glamorous girls tea party in the cafe. A bridal shower or special birthday, there is always an excuse to throw a tea party. We decorate the cafe with tablecloths & napkins in the prettiest fabrics & hang bunting to make the cafe as pretty as can be. Tea includes tiny sandwiches such as prawn with chilli & lime mayonnaise, scones with cream and jam, plates of the sweetest cupcakes and chocolate brownies piled high & studded with birthday candles & streamers.
